History
For more than 60 years, ACTINI has designed, manufactured and installed equipment for flow heat treatment for the food-processing and biopharmaceutical industries. Stimulated by the changing needs of industry, ACTINI has been constantly developing new technologies of pasteurization, sterilization and decontamination always more innovation and more efficient.
In 2009, ACTINI sets up in the United States. A manufacturing and marketing joint venture is opened in Pennsylvania in partnership with ABC (Allegheny Bradford Corporation). ABC Actini LLC, located in Bradford, PA, will open later two branches in Pittsburgh, PA and Montreal, QC.
2018: ACTINI Group expansion
The company SOFAST (Manufacturing Company for Sterilization), located
in Bordeaux (France), joined the ACTINI Group.
SOFAST is expert in the design and manufacturing of process equipment and lines for the preparation, formulation and transfer of pharmaceutical and cosmetic products.
As an expert in heat treatment, ACTINI offers a complete range of equipment designed to meet the needs of industries, CMOs and laboratories in the pharmacy, biotechnology and cosmetics industries.
Main Products : Heat treatment equipments
- Decontamination of liquid effluent for industries or laboratories handling biological agents classified 1 to 4.
- Sterilization of media or ingredients for the pharmaceutical, biotechnological and cosmetic industries, as well the ones of subcontractors and CMOs from these sectors.
- Neutralization of the effluent coming from Batch and Continuous Flow Systems.
As a leader in sterilization technologies ACTINI designs and manufactures a range of effluent decontamination systems to meet the most stringent standards for containment. These specific tubular heat decontamination systems are designed to meet the requirements of manufacturers of vaccines and laboratories working with pathogens classified from BSL-1 to BSL-4 and provide a level of security and reliability unmatched compared to conventional solutions.
Technological advances in the techniques of decontamination and inactivation produced by ACTINI allow us to provide more efficient and cost-effective systems for projects of all sizes and for all types of confined environments.
Its ability to innovate combined with a technical mastery and historical know-how have enabled it over the years to offer “batch” or “continuous” solutions that are always more efficient for capacities of 40 to 400,000 liters. Ensuring the decontamination of the waste, they also answer the current problems which are productivity, profitability of the installations, compactness of the systems and preservation of the environment.
